We're Prole Pastures, and we're open for our first harvest.

September 29, 2026 · launch · story

Three generations.

Our family has raised beef in Warren County, Iowa for three generations. Until now we've sold to people we know — friends, neighbors, the occasional restaurant. We're opening it up because the practice we've built is good, the demand is there, and our kids want a future on the farm.

What you can expect.

Hormone-free. Antibiotic-free. Raised under roof in our hoop buildings. Bred from our own genetics. Cut at Maxwell Custom Beef in Des Moines, a shop that knows how to cut a steak the way you'd actually want it.

Reserve a share, we raise it, you pick it up at the locker. That's the whole deal.

What's next.

The longer-term plan, if volume supports it: a retail meat store in Cumming, Iowa inside the Peoples Company agrihood, and eventually a Florida outlet. None of that happens without you first. Reserve a share and tell a friend.
